I have seen both Pirates of the Caribbean 3 and harry Potter 5. Both movies, in my opinion, were amazing. The Pirates story continues on with a lot more romance and action. Harry Potter 5 was yet again a success, following harry and the gang through their many adventures. The movie followed the book pretty well but obviously not to the T as the book was over 600 pages and the movie was only a couple hours long. I recommend both movies to all who love these stories.
I just saw Halloween, completly against my will. However, I thought it was an awful movie and hollywood completly ruined a classic. The movie was too much of hollywood glorified gore and I had to close my eyes multiple times to keep from feeling sick.
I saw HP:OotP, Pirates, The Simpsons Movie, and Hairspray. I loved HP and Pirates because they both provided interesting stories set in fantasy worlds which differs from what most movies are about. I would recommend both to anyone who had seen the previous ones and enjoy action, comedy, and romance. I also really loved Hairspray and I left the theater singing the songs and in a very good mood. It's really upbeat and though it doesn't compare to the actual stage performance(which I have not seen unfortunately) and only plays a clip of the song It Takes Two it is really a feel good movie. I would definitely recommend this movie to everyone. The Simpsons was fairly enjoyable in my opinion since I am not a fan and was out-voted on what movie to see. It's humor and storyline pretty much follows that of the TV show. For fans of The Simpsons I would highly recommend it otherwises don't bother.
I saw the new Pirates movie and I am not sure what I thought of it. I really liked it, but it felt a little bit drawn out. I would definately say that anyone who likes the Pirates movies should see it because it is good, but it's definately not the best of the three movies.
I also saw the new Harry Potter and I thought it was really good. It followed the book for the most part and had some good effects. On the whole, another good movie in the series!
HAIRSPRAY WAS AMAZING!!! I really agree wtih Kathy- it is very upbeat and you cant help but sing and dance along. The movie is so much fun and it also has such a wonderful message. GO SEE IT!!
