Google Saves a School
Frontline, PBS, released this video of a failing school turned around. Two years ago, the middle school in the Bronx, Intermediate School 339, was about to close down. Watch this video and leave a comment.
Awesome and powerful video. The opportunities that technologies afford are unmistakable. As the principal says, "technology is like oxygen, nobody says let's take away oxygen." Students need these types of technology skill to be successful. If a public school in NYC has this much success, there's no reason other districts cannot do the same! :)
This is great! I am glad to see the technology helped to excite and engage the students. It is an incredible turnaround.
